About Me

Hira Ahmad pursued her masters degree in communication sciences and disorders from Florida International University. She is currently a licensed CCC-Speech-Language Pathologist who is located in Florida and Texas. Hira completed her clinical fellowship in a private practice setting with the pediatric population.
She has experience working at a skilled nursing facility, private practice, and public school settings. Hira has worked with patients who have communication and swallowing disorders secondary to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, Hearing Impairment, aphasia, apraxia, Microlissencephaly, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, TBI, dementia, esophageal stenosis, and Parkinson’s disease. She also has experience working with a treating children with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
Hira has experience working with the geriatric and pediatric population for over five years.
Hira is very well-versed in teletherapy and has been seeing patients via teletherapy for over 3 years. She is currently seeing patients in Florida and Texas!
